Greene County began their baseball season last week, kicking off with an at home game, falling 14-4 to Denison-Schleswig.
The Rams saw hits from Matthew Hovick, Brayden Roberts, Noah Hinote, Crew Conner and two from Camden Jacobs. Roberts hit a double, plating two runs for the Rams. Gavyn Winters and Jacobs each accounted for two runs.
On the field, the team had 15 putouts and three errors. Pitching duties were shared by Hovick, Isaac Carman and Lane Fields. The trio allowed seven hits with five errors, walking 12, with three hit batters and five strikeouts.
